Kim Jones, F.N.P.                                                          

   Lynn County Hospital District welcomed Kim Jones, FNP to their staff on August 18, 2008. Ms. Jones comes to us just off of her reserve duty in the Army Nurse Core. Kim served at Ft. Mc Coy, Wisconsin and worked for Dr. Mike Rice from January 2007 until joining LCHD. She served our nation for one year in 2006 at the Landstuhl Medical Hospital in Germany treating mostly the wounded from Iraq. Kim states that she joined the Army Nurse Core for love of a country that allows her to worship where she wants and allows her children to choose the education they want. When asked why she chose rural healthcare she stated "It’s where God wants me. I did a rotation in rural New Mexico in January 2002 and stepped off the bus and said, Okay God, I hear you. Rural healthcare is in my heart."
